Still homeless

Just a quick entry as I'm SO far behind on email that I've been on the computer too long already. We are still patiently waiting for our house to be done. I never dreamed what a drug out nightmare homebuilding/remodeling could be. We have the upstairs almost finished painting. The cupboards are here, have been for 2 weeks, but no carpenters have been coming to work. The plumber/electrician/hvac guys have been pretty steady, though, and the geothermal is all dug - albeit in the MUD, which made a HUGE mess out of everything. We could do flooring but the carpenter really wants to be able to finish the trim work before we are in the way - however, the doors and trim aren't even here yet. Funny, the kitchen and decking are in but they can't install those, but the trim work can be installed but its not here. Something wrong with that picture?? Good news is that our carpenter came back this afternoon - with 2 helpers - so at least it feels like they've accomplished something by the end of the day!! For now, we are in a rental at $40 per night, praising God for heat and running water!
