I understand that. I've made mittens for my little one, have a mitten on the needles for my oldest one, and dh prefers a stocking cap to mittens. So I'm trying to learn how to do that.
In the meantime, I enjoy Facebook and Twitter.

I usually try to read a good book, or crochet something that doesn't take a lot of time. I am working on a blanket for my oldest daughter that will graduate this year. The work is slow since I don't much care for all the weaving in of the ends, but I'm doing it because it is a work of love.

Tonight this mom had a night in the pool at HealthTrax with her two girls. Does that count? I'd probably enjoy a couple of hours at a Barnes and Nobles. I could have a latte and some little yummy to go with it and browse books without sticking to the children's section, spelling dh or playing Thomas the Tank Engine. It's a nice thought.
